BEST Agrotech 2.0: Robot challenge reloaded!

BEST Madrid gives you the opportunity to feel the engineering, to discover the fun side of technology while enjoying a wonderful spring week in Spain, where the days are hot but the nights are even hotter!
In BEST Agrotech 2009: Take the Robot's Challenge! electronics, programming and mechanics meet together to build the robot of your dreams! Together with other European students of technology like YOU, your international team will design and build a device capable to perform a given task related to agriculture. It could be a robot that escapes from a labyrinth. But it could be so many things... but you will only get to know the real task if you come to Madrid!
All you need to take part in our unique adventure is some basic background on any of those fields... but don't worry! You don't need to be an expert! Our teachers will give you some short theoretical background on everything you need to know and they will be helping you throughout the whole event.
At the beginning you will receive some short theoretical introductions on specific topics that will help you understand anything that you will need to know during the rest of the week. According to their technical background, all participants will be splitted up in balanced teams of 4 or 5 people that will be designing and developing your device during the main part of the event. At the end, all teams will compete with their prototype in the final contest... and, who knows, maybe you are part of the winning team!
Anyway, you win the contest or not, you will gain so much practical and theoretical knowledge and so many friends from all around Europe that we can assure you that this will be the BEST week of your life.
